How to get to the Christmas market

By tram from the hotel

The Porte de l'Hôpital stop is 250 metres from the hotel. Lines A and D take you to the heart of the Grande Île in just a few minutes, to the Langstross Grand'Rue stop. It is the easiest way to reach the chalets without worrying about parking.

By train

Strasbourg railway station is 10 to 15 minutes from the hotel by tram. A Christmas information point is set up on Place de la Gare, and another on Place Kléber: you will find the paper map of the markets there.

By car: what you need to know

During market opening hours, motor vehicles cannot drive on the Grande Île and access checks are carried out at the entrance to the bridges. The City recommends parking in the park-and-ride car parks (P+R) on the outskirts, then taking the tram. By bike, you must ride at walking pace within the market area.

Parking at the Hôtel Diana Dauphine

The hotel has private underground parking, including 3 spaces with electric vehicle charging points.

These spaces are chargeable and limited in number, and are booked at the same time as your room. Cyclists can use a secure bike box with a repair workshop.

Your hotel for the Christmas market

A 4-star hotel with a clean, contemporary design, the Diana Dauphine has 46 air-conditioned rooms, from Standard to Deluxe, the most spacious.

The lounge is the perfect place to put down your bags after a stroll, and room service saves you going back out into the cold. In the morning, the Signature Organic & Gourmand breakfast brings together breads and pastries by Thierry Schwartz, organic yoghurts and jams from the Laiterie du Climont and local honey.

Pets are welcome.

When to visit to avoid the crowds?

Saturdays in December are by far the busiest days.

From Monday to Thursday, and especially in the last week of November, your visit will be much more comfortable.
